2003-05-24 - 11:43 a.m. - holy room spinnage batman!
I got my drink on and definitely caught my buzz last nite. I'm still feelin' it now... O.O It's all good tho' I seriously needed to unwind. Glow was small but nice. It was hip-hop night on Friday so the patrons were predominantly black, our group were the only asians in the house. A few caucasians walked in and a few minutes later, walked right back out. I guess they just weren't "down with it"... =p I would comment on the music but I honestly don't remember it I was so damn buzzed. It was a cool group outing, met new people that I wouln't mind hanging out with again. I think I'll take a nap and hit the shower later.

2003-05-23 - 7:49 p.m. - the glow...
Looks like I'm going out tonight to this place called "Glow" with a couple of frinds that called me last-minute. Never been there myself, but from what I heard and read, it sounds like a cool place. I'm tellin' ya getting intoxicated is exactly what I fucking need tonight. Anyway here's what Metromix.com has to say about the place:
Glow
1615 N. Clybourn Ave
312-587-8469
With its VIP-style lounge, see-and-be-seen catwalk, exotic cuisine and multiple video screens, Glow aspires to be a bright star in the Clybourn Corridor district. Actually, the only "glowing" features in this two-and-a-half level loft (the mid-level deejay perch has a small sitting area) is the funky cobalt blue on the upstairs wall and the downstairs bar that's illuminated via fiber optics. Other highlights: an extensive wine and champagne list, "glowing" hosts and a sound system that pumps out drum 'n' bass.
http://entertainment.metromix.chicagotribune.com Oh yeah, it's definitely on with the martinis tonight so I guess it's time to hit the shower... ;)
