Here it is, a review from the Slut
Reviews site. Absolutely love the name, then
again who wouldn't? ;) It's one of the few review sites that is tolerant of
sex-based and erotica diaries. If you have a sexually oriented diary and are
looking for an unbiased review in that respect, look no further that the Slut
Reviews site. I do believe the creator of this site is an acquaintance
of mine and I have a fairly good idea who it is, but since she obviously chose
to withhold her identity in this site, I will respect her anonymity and not
throw out my suppositions as to who she is. I will, however have to make a mental
note to ask her about it if I ever catch her on IM. Anyway here's the review.
I'll reserve my comments to the end:
liquid-mojo
Contact: 5/5 Guestbook, guestmap, notes, email, AIM. Highly stalkable
Errors: 5/5 Didn't find anything wrong
Navigation: 10/10 Easy to find. You'd have to be a moron to NOT find it. Scrollbars everywhere to guide you along. Links all over the place, but it's easy to get back to the main page.
Updates: 15/15 As stated in scoring, I know that not everyone can update daily, but you certainly try. Plenty to read.
Layout: 18/20 White text on black background with blue linkage. There is much to see and do on this layout, yet it's all neatly organized. The fade effect is entertaining and it seems like everything you click takes you somewhere else. Love the booty shaking girl! But it's very busy and sometimes a bit overwhelming.
Content: 40/35 Writting about being undersexed eventually gets tiring. Obviously you picked up on that because as you scan from the older to the newer, it's less of a topic. (Still very much a part of the diary though.) Glad you switched from blog style to one-entry-per-page style. Blogs drive me nuts! Defining liquid-mojo is nice bonus. Most people don't define their diaryland alias. Thought provoking entries like that of your grandmother's death (which made me cry) ethnicity, your father, when you lost your dog (but found him later) and your 100 things that goes deeper then anyone else's I've seen. Then you have funny moments like shaving your pubes, planet Derrick, and the wet nut sundae. All in all, your diary kept me reading, and that's always a plus. Most people don't dive in as deep as you do into yourself. You expose your raw self and let countless reviewers take aim. That takes guts.
Would I Return? 5/5 Fuck yes! I couldn't read every single entry, but I'm sure one day I will get through them.
Extras: 10/5 Disclaimer, tons of contact, bio information, portfolio, and just about every picture links to something else. TONS of extras (almost too many!)
Total points: 108/100 - Congratulations!
BONUS! Total stars: 5

First of all I would like to start off by saying that I really, really
appreciate reviewers that delve back into my past entries. Sometimes I wonder if
some reviewers and readers alike just read the current month and simply stop
there. I also wonder if reviewers actually look at the extras I put in.
The information I put in my extras are not necessarily mindless, arbitrary
or trivial tidbits. Many are integral pieces to the puzzle of my being, so
when a reviewer or a reader in general notices this, I am appreciative of
it.
Of course I do have my share of silly, mindless entries which this reviewer
has also noticed and pointed out. Only a handful of reviewers seem to appreciate
"the total package" that is my diary (although the numbers seem to be
increasing as time goes by). Some like the content, but not the layout. Some
like the layout but not the content. Some like the serious entries but are
offended by my banter of wanting sex or of my particular brand of humor.
It goes to show that one cannot simply please everyone all the time. It does
feel good however when, in light of that fact, my diary and the many facets of
it are appreciated by a reviewer. This is part of why I let those countless
reviewers take aim at my diary and at my life. When it's a good review I feel
understood and appreciated. When it is a not so good review, I take the points
of criticism and try to improve and evolve upon it. In other words it's not just
to get a pat on the back, it's a tool to continually evolve and improve upon my
diary. This is why I'm not afraid of being reviewed and I'm certainly not afraid
of getting a bad or even a scathing review. If someone has an honest and
constructive criticism I take it as good advice.
But anyway, I digress. I would like to thank the reviewer for taking the time
to review my diary and for giving me such a great score. I know your site is
relatively new, but you are doing a magnificent job thus far. By all means, keep
up the great work you are doing...
